Thought the Rebecca Black Friday craze was over? Nope! It lives on! And this time around it's back as a board game. I'm not entirely sure how you're supposed to play -- but maybe that's the fun of the game. Make up your own rules! See the rest of the game board after the jump.

Shia LaBeouf Is Done With Transformers
Shia LaBeouf has said that he is done with the Transformers franchise.
I'm not coming back to do another one. I don't think [director Michael Bay] will either," he told MTV News. "It's still a hot property, I think, especially coming out of the third one. So I imagine they'll reboot it at some point with someone else." Shia does claim Dark Of The Moon is the "best movie" yet, in terms of "action and geography."
Shia also recently said that therell be an Indiana Jones 5. Shia revealed that another Indiana is not so far off.
Apparently George Lucas has not yet settled on a storyline for the film, but this hasnt deterred Harrison Ford, who is still eager to take part in the movie and is keeping fit and practically staying in the gym.

Paper Dolls of the World fabric is too cute for words!
? Day 147 of Vintage 365 ?
A few days ago I was reflecting on some of my favourite books from my childhood and vaguely (but very fondly) recalled a series of young children's books that were shaped like figures dressed in national costumes from various countries around the world (and each title disused various elements of a certain culture/country).
?Or at least that's what I think they were - there's an even less likely chance that they were in the shape of, and about, people in various careers.
I fear my memories of these books are very, very murky, but I would love to find out what they were called and perhaps add some to my present day classic book collection. To that extent, I started combing the internet high and low (I actually sort of enjoy shot-in-the dark challenges that take a bit of sleuthing, last year I found two other unrelated books I had distant memories via some creative search terms and online elbow grease), but haven?t lucked out yet.
While I do not remember any specific titles, I do recall that one of the books featured an Inuit girl (she was likely called "Eskimo" in those days, a term which is now generally seen as being derogatory) on the cover (I think she was sporting a fur trimmed parka).
It was when I was a very small child during the 80s that this series of books was read to me by my mother, however the books themselves may have been from the 70s (or even earlier). It's ever-so-slightly possible that they were from the UK (and there's a slight chance they might have been published by Ladybird Books, though I tried searching via that avenue and came up very empty handed).
In the midst of cruising around the web in the hopes of turning up these charming retro children's books, I came across a rather adorable fabric featuring images of vintage paper dolls (drawn in much the same way as the iconic Campbell's Soup kids) sporting traditional costumes from various world nations.
There are so many splendidly delightful uses that one could have for this Paper Dolls of the World fabric (which retails for $5.27 per 44" wide panel over at Fabric.com). You could turn it into throw (toss) cushions, decorate a skirt/blouse/apron/purse/book bag/etc, cut out the cloth paper dolls pair them with an equal sized backing, stuff them, and transform them into actual tiny dolls or even brooches.
You could snip them out for use on cards, scrapbook pages, and other paper craft projects. Frame one or more squares and use them as decorative art. You could even cut the panel into two rows of four squares and sew the two together into a small table runner for use at a potluck, ethnic foods gathering, Thanksgiving table, or other festive meal.
Of course, as fabric collectors the globe over know, you can always just buy some of this fantastically sweet vintage paper doll patterned cloth and enjoy it exactly as is, too.
While I'm happy to have stumbled upon such a splendidly precious fabric to share with you all (and add to my craft supplies wish list!), I'm still on the prowl for that mysterious line of figure shaped children's books. Should they happen to ring a bell with anyone, please don't hesitate to let me know.
In the meantime, every now and then when a new keyword combination springs to mind (or flicker of a memory that might reveal another clue), I'll keep hunting through sites like Flickr, Amazon, AbeBooks, and Google, in the hopes that these fun children's storybooks from the earliest days of my youth will spring up once more.

'The Killing' Recap - Missing
- Kinda loving Holder right now. If they even somehow make my wounded puppy dog, former drug addict, police detective Rosie's killer, I will be pretty peeved.
- I liked that this episode showed Sarah Linden going through what so many of the parents she's dealt with have gone through. Hopefully this experience will make her appreciate her son more. Even though he's a tool and she should just send him to Sonoma to live with Murderous Fiance.
- I definitely think Richmond is the killer now. He's been in the middle of this whole thing the entire time. His fingerprints are all over the case (metaphorically). And it would be too late to introduce a motive totally unrelated to his campaign. And he's never really been a suspect, even though Rosie's body was found in his campaign car. And we know that he once shook hands with her. Murderer!
- OK, so maybe it's not definitely Richmond, but I'm leaning toward him. Other likely suspects: Billionaire Jackhole, Auntie, Disgruntled Female Plaything of the Councilman, Mayor Butt Munch, Murderous Fiance (he's never NOT a suspect), Evil Guy from Lost/Ugly Betty, Sarah Linden's Multiple Personalities, Belko's Mom, and Still Belko.

Celebrities Support Wild Animal Circus Campaign
Animal Defenders International (ADI) has enlisted the help of high profile supporters and celebrities who have written a joint open letter to the British Prime Minister requesting that he reconsiders Government’s recent decision not to implement an outright ban on the use of wild animals in circuses.
Brian Blessed, Annette Crosbie, Ricky Gervais, Meg Mathews, Brian May, Julia McKenzie, John Nettles, Mark Radcliffe, Alexei Sayle and Benjamin Zephaniah have all pledged support to ADI’s ‘Stop Circus Suffering UK’ campaign, bringing further pressure to bear on the Coalition Government to introduce a ban during this crucial time.
Jan Creamer, Chief Executive of ADI said: “We are extremely grateful to these well known personalities, who like us have been appalled by Government’s lack of judgement and failure to listen to the will of the UK public. As the UK and Scottish Parliament continue to debate the issue of wild animals in circuses, their invaluable support has assisted our campaign as we press ahead for a ban.”
Brian Blessed, the revered actor, author, and ADI Ambassador said:" Government needs to do the honorable thing and implement a ban as soon as possible to prevent further animal suffering. We have presented them with strong evidence and it is now time for them to get on with it and ban the use of wild animals in circuses – period."
The actress Annette Crosbie said: “It looks perverse to continue to tolerate a Victorian idea of wholesome family entertainment that endangers and degrades helpless animals. And, if we have learned nothing else from recent events, we know to our cost that rules and regulations mean nothing if someone is prepared to ignore them, either in the City or in the Westminster village.”
Multi award winning writer and comedian Ricky Gervais said: “Animal Defenders International’s recent footage of Anne the elephant being beaten graphically displays why the government should ban wild animals in circuses. I am appalled that wild animals are still kept in circuses and fully support the call for a ban. It is high time that Government got on and implemented one.”
Celebrity Designer Meg Mathews said: “As an advocate of animal welfare, the footage released by ADI of poor Annie the elephant being so cruelly treated made me sick to my stomach. It’s time for this government to stop dragging its heels and finally take action to end the suffering that animals like Anne endure every day in UK circuses.”
Brian May, legendary guitarist, song writer and founding member of Queen said: “The use of wild animals in circuses is cruel, distasteful and unacceptable in the 21st century. Our present government is currently backing away from ending this abhorrent practice. We at ‘Save-Me’ call on David Cameron personally to act now, and take a step towards making Britain worthy of its desired status as a nation of animal-lovers. While wild animals still exist in circuses, we remain very far away from that title.”
Star of Miss Marple and theatre director Julia McKenzie said: The Government needs to listen to the will of the Great British public and implement a wild animal circuses ban without further delay. Their decision is flawed and needs rapid review. I urge the Minister to reconsider."
Actor, historian and writer John Nettles said: “I am absolutely amazed that wild animals in circuses still exist in the UK. I was appalled when ADI informed me of Government’s recent decision and I would urge all animal lovers to get behind their campaign to stop circus suffering and write to their MPs and request that they contact the Minister responsible to request that he reverses his decision, in the interests of animal protection and welfare.”
Radio personality, DJ, presenter and broadcaster Mark Radcliffe said: “I am amazed that wild animal circuses still exist in the UK, and like the vast majority of the public and politicians I want to see a ban on their use once and for all – and I want this to happen now. Successive governments have been mulling this issue over now for far too long, and it is high time that the Coalition Government acted decisively to bring an end to this animal suffering – once and for all. They have been provided with all the evidence and information that they need and it is time to now listen to the will of the UK public.”
Comedian, actor and author Alexei Sayle said: “There are many grey areas in matters of morality – using wild animals in circuses is not one of these grey areas. It is simply and obviously wrong and indefensible. The sooner this blot on a civilised country is eradicated the better it will be for all of us – animals and humans.”
And the poet, novelist and playwright Benjamin Zephaniah said: “There are so many ways that intelligent human beings can have fun, and exploiting animals should not be one of them. Beautiful animals are not for our entertainment, in fact it’s our duty to respect and protect them. I am a real animal lover and I would never go to a circus that had wild animals, so I’m appealing to the Government to heed ADI’s advice. The Great British public have made it clear, they demand better, so the Government should do the right thing for animal welfare by implementing a ban.”
ADI’s recent expos at the winter quarters of Bobby Roberts’ Super Circus, which showed the appalling abuse of Anne the elephant and Monty the camel and led to a worldwide public outcry, has provided the Government with the perfect opportunity to ban the use of wild animals in circuses, which is what the public wants, politicians want, and animal welfare groups want.
It’s time that this Government faced up to their responsibilities and implemented an outright ban without further delay.
ADI is in the process of drafting a series of legal briefings for politicians to keep the pressure up on the Government to do the right thing morally and ethically ? wild animals do not belong in travelling circuses.

Found: the perfect pair of vintage style black capri pants
? Day 155 of Vintage 365 ?
There are certain items of clothing that, for whatever reason, my parents didn't dress me in often (if at all) as youngster. We're not talking ball gowns or wetsuits here, folks, I mean pretty run-of-the-mill pieces like button front blouses, denim jeans, and two piece swimsuits (the first time I ever wore one was a month before I turned 15!).
Another item that falls into that category is capri pants. As I sit here, on this warmer-by-the-minute June morning and think long and hard about it, I have absolutely no recollection of sporting a pair of capri pants until I had moved away from home and was living on my own (so late teen years). Amazing, in this day and age, I know!
One might think that the story above would have led me to compose a wardrobe full of those missing items to make up for lost time, however it turns out I'm not a bikini girl (too modest) and I wouldn't say I own more cotton blouses or blue jeans than the average person. When it comes to Capri pants, well, at the moment, I don't have a single pair, if you can believe it!
Taking stock of my modest sized summer wardrobe recently, I was instantly struck by this point and so skipped merrily over to the computer to see what kinds of vintage styles I could dig up online to inspire the types of capri pants I'd ideally like to buy to remedy my complete and total lack of this terrific summertime wardrobe staple.
One of the nicest and absolutely most versatile examples I came across was the wonderfully timeless pair of Foxy Rockabilly Capris in sleek-as-a-moonless-night's-sky black vintage style capri pants from Stop Staring Clothing pictured below.
Featuring a high-cut waist, comfy stretch twill fabric, and a subtle side seam zipper, these superbly versatile summer pants are exactly the kind of classic 1950s style pants you?ll want (need!) to have in your wardrobe.
At the time of writing (I say that because styles like this tend to sell out, especially in certain sizes, faster than you can blink!) these stylish capris are available in ladies sizes small, medium and large, retailing for $106.00 a pair.
While I'm the first to admit that crossing the hundred dollar threshold is a bit hefty for a pair of pants, when it comes to immortal classics like these black beauties, you're bound to get so much fashion millage out of them that over time their cost per wear factor will end up turning them in to an absolute bargain.
If I was going to add just one pair of capris to my vintage wardrobe this summer, these pin-up girl worthy pants would be precisely what I'd pick today.
Their dark hue makes them figure flattering, the high cut waist adds scores of instant vintage chic, and their playful lower calf-length hem helps ensure you stay a little cooler all through the hot-as-freshly-baked-bread days of summer.
So while my parents may not have fancied capris for their tykes, I'm keen on this style and would definitely not have a single qualm about slipping into a pair of these awesome black pants right this very moment!

Women's casual footwear styles from the summer of 1959
? Day 158 of Vintage 365 ?
There is much to be said in favour of a stunning pair of heels, chicer than the day is long, exquisitely tailored and, as is so often the case with gorgeous footwear, lip-bitingly painful to wear after about thirty seconds.
Like many a vintage fashionista, I've paid my dues when it comes to logging scores of days in such shoes, however there's no rule (despite what shows like Sex in the City might have you believe) that says footwear needs to be painful to lovely or functional.
While it's jolly fun to imagine yesteryear women sashaying around town in Dior heels all the live long day, reality is that most women (perhaps even more so in the 40s and 50s then now) had a shoe wardrobe that included a good mix of practical styles, as well as shoe-stopping pairs.
In the former category, back during the summer of 1959, one could easily have found numerous pairs to love - and adorn their feet with - amongst the styles up for offer in this cheerful page from that season's Montgomery Ward catalog.
These styles - each of which could easily have been plucked from a modern day shoe store - are a testament to the fact that summertime footwear can definitely be both easy on the soles and wonderfully fashionable at the same time.
From a darling floral print kitten heel (if you don't already own a pair, I highly suggest investing in some kitten heels, they're often very easy to wear and walk in for hours on end) to chambray blue t-strap flats, fiery lipstick red slip-on deck style shoes to zigzag print wedges, all of the styles on this page would have been highly versatile choices for the fashionable woman of the late 1950s.
And nothing has changed in that regard over the last six decades. Each of these looks is still a smart buy, cheery style, and delightful way to get a lot of mileage out of your summertime shoes.
Turn to images like this great old school catalog page (which hails from Flickr user CapricornOneVintage) the next time you head out to do some vintage shoe shopping and you're bound to come home with the kind of winning styles that will look every bit as lovely today as they did in 1959.
